Literacy is a Bridge from Misery to Hope

The pandemic has caused a surge in illiteracy. Virtual Learning is inaccessible to the poorer sections of society, especially in the Global South, who need it the most. We may see higher drop-out rates and a widening chasm of inequality between rich and poor. This means that we need to double our efforts in public education and literacy. This International Literacy Day, try helping a child go back to school.
