Vengance Has A Symbol: Spider's End (2/3)
Oracle- I'm looking through the database on him. Eric was first sentenced to prison after mugging and nearly killing an elderly woman but, as a minor, he was out in three years. Over the next two years, Eric married his friend Linda Morrel and they had a son, Michael. Desperate for money to buy more drugs, he robs a liquor store. He kills the owner, who turns out to be his father. After being arrested, he kicks the habit out of remorse and begins a war on the drug trade. Donning a costume, he becomes a self-styled vigilante and begins killing those suspected of dealing drugs. He's like you, but evil!
Batman- He's nothing like me! I'll take him down!
Oracle- Be careful, he's a master hand-to-hand combatant and martial artist; master assassin; expert marksman; expert acrobat. Dudes no joke, It won't be easy!
Batman- It never is. I'm heading to the Brewery.
Oracle- Lucius sent more files to me about your new batsuit, I'm sending them to you now.
Batman- Thanks Oracle.
====The Brewery====
Officer #1- Uh...w-what's going on. Where are we!
Officer #2- I don't know.
Black Spider- You two shouldn't worry about that right now.
Officer #1- Who are you!
Black Spider- You can call me Black Spider!
(Batman arrives & uses the heat signature in his cowl to find Black Spider.)
Oracle- Have you found him?
Batman- Yes he's in an abandoned warehouse.
(Batman crashes through the roof of the abandoned warehouse.)
Black Spider- Batman, I'm not suprised your here.
Batman- You need to turn yourself in Eric.
(Black Spider pulls a gun on Batman.)
Black Spider- My NAME is Black Spider! Don't you see Batman, we're on the same side.
Batman- No, you kill, I'll NEVER cross that line!
Black Spider- I keep crinimals off the street FOREVER!
Batman- In doing so you've become one yourself.
(Batman throws his batarang at Black Spider's gun & punches him in the face.)
Black Spider- I'LL KILL YOU!
(Black Spider & Batman engage in battle. Black Spider fractures Batmans leg. Batman breaks Black Spider's arm, then he throws a smoke pellet.)
Black Spider- Do you think smoke will stop me!?
Batman- No but it will slow you down.
Black Spider- Where are you!?
Batman- Right here.
(Batman sneaks fom behind & puts Black Spider in a sleeper hold.)
Batman- Are you two okay?
Officer #2- We are now.
Oracle- What happened!?
Batman- Contact Gordon for a pick-up.
