Hidden Streams
I was set on taking a sunset shot today, but wasn't sure where I wanted the photo at. I recalled an area out past Cherokee, towards Clingmans dome that had a few picturesque valleys that had potential. Neither panned out, on the way back out, I was taking note of the waterfalls, the textures, the moss, the lay of the land. So, not admitting defeat I stopped at the urging of a friend and began composing a shot at one of the more relaxing creeks/waterfalls. Of course, me being me, I wanted to shoot from the middle of the creek, without waders, in water still too cold to dunk my less that water resistant boots in, I opted to balance o na few rocks in the middle. This is the result of roaming, and working to find my composition. Enjoy.
ISO: 160
Aperture: f8
SS: 1/4
Focal: 10mm
Haida M10 CPL, and praying not to slip into the icy waters bellow me.
