Crack In The Clouds
I was meant to be at Looking Glass Falls when I took this photo. Getting the moody sky over the mountains, and the granite face as my main subject. That didn't happen, I was out and about doing laundry, talking with friends, getting food. Ran out of time. This shot was composed in the parking lot of the restaurant we went to after chores, much to the chagrin of my friends. I was just chatting, watching the sky, seeing this interesting play on light. The mountains in the background getting clobbered by the rain, creating a natural contrast to play on. This of course is an HDR image, I wanted to pull some more color from the sky, and still I muted the blues down substantially to get a clean composition.
