Valley of Light And Shadow
I returned to this area today. I was hoping for a glorious sunset. I also wanted to continue learning about doing panorama shots. I believe this is Reinhart Gap along the Blue Ridge Parkway. I toyed with several aspects here, and finally settled on a portrait orientation, twelve images across, each exposure bracketed, combined, then stitched in photoshop. I played with the blues a bit in this image, they were simply too bright, and unfortunately that bright blue causes increased haze in these mountains. I hope you guys enjoy the photo.
ISO: 160
Aperture: f6.4
SS: 1/125
Focal: 50mm
My 50-140 again, with a haida m10 CPL. This location is amazing for a wide open view, and would be great for corpuscular rays.
