Enid Stocken - 2 early puzzles compared
A while ago I bought two puzzles cut by Enid Stocken. Both have the same box (one (with less pieces!) a bit larger then the other). The boxes are very similar to the Leisure and Pleasure boxes I've seen, but no mention of it. They are both very early puzzles, both have a swastika figural. They are both in very nice condition and all original.
The first Customer has some pieces that fit (better) from underneath, later ones don’t have these ‘mistakes’, so I think this is also a sign that it is a very early one.
I really like the figural of the man with a goatee in The first Customer, very up to date! Love the airplane, crocodiles and palmtree too.
The pictures on the right are of 'Village snow Scene' and the ones on the left of 'The first Customer'. And a picture of the boxes. The First Customer has a title, the other one only a line from a verse???
