Great Grey Owlet Cooling off

During the heat of the day the owlets would take cover on the cooler ground. This owlet popped up on the side of the road as we were walking by. Stretching out by the owls would help cool them off when temperatures reached over 40degrees C. Sadly the forest, the owls lived in, was burned to the ground a month after I took this shot.
