My dear Chotadada,

 

......Marriage + clerkship have entered into the bones and marrows of our nation. From their very infancy the Bengalees hear from their mothers and grandmothers about pretty wives and clerkships. So what can be the fate of such a nation? The Bengalees are satisfied with a job of 30 rupees and live happily under the “Anchals” of their wives. Is there no water in the Ganges? Can’t they drown themselves there?.....
