A Country Railing

In the winter of 2017, I fell down a mountain when hiking by myself, tearing the labrum, a ring of cartilage, from my hip joint. As explained to me by my doctor, I no longer have a break pad. Two and a half years of rehab and I'm fine. One of the rehab exercises was walking. My favorite woodland path was at the top of this little hill which at the time seemed insurmountable until Don built these stairs and makeshift railing which fits my hand. All in all, it was a good lesson in not hiking alone - but I still do...
