Minolta AL-F K100_17 Wet Warriors
The sculpture of Godren Grovan and King Olaf, Norse kings of Man, by Amanda Barton. I have photographed this quite a few times, but not usually sat in a pool of water. Another frame from the recently tidied Minolta AL-F from the late sixties. Lovely little camera. I have cropped this slightly, so it is slightly less obvious on the left side, but edge sharpness isn't amazing. Overall though the lens delivers nicely. The viewfinder is very nice to use with good brightness. The rangefinder seems to be pretty accurate. It looked okay but was even brighter and easier after an internal clean. Having read some other reviews, I clearly need to take the top off again and have a go at adjusting the shutter button... it's travel is a bit too far, making shooting slightly sluggish with a risk of camera shake... hopefully quite easily sorted.
