PSMA Based Therapies - A New Ray of Hope
PSMA-based therapies have been proven effective for patients with advanced prostate cancer for whom surgical and other medical options have already exhausted themselves. They offer a new ray of hope.
The Department of Nuclear Medicine at Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI), Gurugram, India, has treated more than 30 new patients of Castration Resistance Prostate Cancer (CRPC) with Ac225 PSMA Therapy. The results are extremely promising with 75-80% of patients showing evidences of significant radiological and biochemical response with prolonged duration of response.
