The life of Nagisa Hibino (Yuki Kura) is indeed not that different from countless children on her own and lives alone in the seaside town of Fujisawa. Nagisa, a seventeen-year-old student in the second grade of high school, loves surfing and makes a living by working in a hostel on the nearby island of Enoshima. Perfectly satisfied with her life, the only thing Nagisa really lacks is a good friend, but even this problem feels like he found a quick solution the day he met Shun Igawa (Naoya Kusakawa).
While visiting Fujisawa for spring break, Shun's love for surfing soon brings him and Nagisa together. The two, who spend their free time both in the water and in the sea, soon develop a strong friendship, which eventually deepens.
