Vermillion flycatcher
I went to Ft. Lowell Park today. They were treating the pond with something they claimed was non-toxic, but really stunk. Somehow, they removed all of the waterfowl, but there were plenty of birds in the trees.
We could always count on finding a vermillion flycatcher and he did not disappoint. Of course, he led me on a merry chase, but that's what they do.
I am adjusting to being alone. I am grateful to be in Tucson soaking up the sun and photographing my favorite birds.
