Meet the Queen. More Precisely Queen Pepper!
I have never been bored attending Queen Pepper and her band performance. Her powerhouse vocals, often supported by saxophonist Alison Young, are resonating with all. She has a steady gig in the Reservoir Lounge in Toronto, but I have yet to see her there. Mary's (Van den Enden) band is pure fun from Eric Boucher on keys, Chris Banks - bass, Alison - a top sax player in the city and drummer Al Webster. I seen the band twice in 2 weeks in April and it's always a party, plus danced with Mary last week when she came to the same club, I was in.
