To ruin a party

Sure, Pebble the Jester crossed the line when he joked about the wife of William the Smith. But what really ruined the party was when William smacked Pebble in the face. Poor pebble was just doing what Jesters are supposed to do. I don't think William the Smith will be invited to the next party.
