Trier by Night 2 - Konstantinbasilika

Since Germany is celebrating its world heritage day, I wanted to share another one of Triers UNESCO sites. The Basilica of Constantine/Aula Palatina was built around 310AD under Constantine the Great, who resided in Trier (then Augusta Treveroroum) between 306 - 324 AD, as part of a monumental palace complex. Since 1856 it is used as a Protestant church.
