Whisky and water
A wet Barclay parked at the Strathspey Railway on 25th March 1981.
This loco was supplied new to the Balmenach Distillery on Speyside in 1936, shunting incoming coal and outgoing whisky barrels until 1968 when it was moved to another local distillery. Donated to the Strathspey Railway in the early 1970s it retained this original livery until a few years ago when it had been sidelined when the boiler ticket expired and it was painted plain green. It remains stored on the railway with no plans for restoration to working order.
