HALF WAY - Get those photos entered!

 

Win L$3000 and a One Person Show at the prestigious Lighthouse Gallery!!!

 

The competition is open to all sl members.

All entries must be

• in the form of sl snapshots with minimal external editing.

• taken within the sim, Kaerlige Ulve.

• taken during May and June 2025

• Content must be considered ‘moderate.’

• submitted to Idaky Resident before midday sl, 7th July 2025 in the competition notecard*, with photo attached and stating your full sl name and a short sentence about the photo.

Entrants should join the group - The Lighthouse Tea Rooms -and remain a member until the competition is completed.

*the competition notecard can be obtained by clicking the antique camera near the tea rooms servery. Find a landmark attached.

All of the entered photos will be exhibited in the Lighthouse Sky art gallery from 25nd July till the 6th August (private view midday 26th July)

Winners will be announced and awards presented in the Lighthouse Gallery at the exhibition opening

First prize L$3000

The winning photographer will also be invited to create a one person show in the gallery (dates to be agreed)

Second prize L$1500

Third L$1000

Judges:

• Fleming Helfenstein owner and curator of The Waterworks Museum of SL Art

• Dido Haas, SL photographer and owner/curator of Nitroglobus gallery

• IdaKy resident – owner of Kaerlige Ulve, curator of the Lighthouse Sky Gallery and an award winning sl photographer

The decision of the Judges will be final
