Wood and brass

This is just a close up of the brass knocker and spyhole of the Door to a secret garden . I, like quite a few of you, found this door just so fascinating and beautiful that I had to zoom in on that detail. This way, the colours of the wood and brass just come out even better. Sadly, the spyhole was still closed. The lush green of the garden shining through would've been the icing on this particular cake.

At least I think the metal is brass, if you know your metals better than I do, please let me know.
