Tulip flame

This fourth instalment in my current series of garden tulips is of an amazingly coloured tulip. I'd seen this one open and close, as tulips tend to do, a few times. It had, however, been eaten a bit by something and so the first pictures I took weren't doing it justices. This sunny evening, however, it had fully opened and the sun hit it just right. Now, I feel the little defects actually add to the flower's charm.
