Tulip light and shadow

As it's spring now, I recently happened on a lot of tulips. Now, while garden tulips can be very pretty, they are not the most exiting subjects to to photograph in my opinion. Their flowers are fairly uniform and they are most impressive in larger numbers. Again, my opinion! However, this time around, I played around with angle, lighting or perspective and I feel I have a few pictures I'd like to share. So this is the first of a set of tulip pictures I never thought I'd post :-)
