Scorpion: Yeah, yeah I get it! I’m just here to get the job done, and get my money.
???: Do whatever you need to do to lure and capture Spider-Man. No matter the cost.
Location: Midtown High 12:00 PM
Michelle: Hey, Peter what do you think of Mr. Beacher’s cooking?
Peter: As school lunch goes it’s not bad. But this curry could use some more cumin and paprika.
Harry: Wait, when did you become knowledgeable in cooking?
Peter: I learned some things from my Uncle Ben before he….. Before he died.
Harry: Well, look on the bright side, you know how to cook.
Peter: Yeah I guess.
Flash: Hey, what’s up Puny Parker.
Peter: (sigh) Hi Flash.
Flash: I’m going to hate saying this, but I need your help with Mr. Warren’s classwork.
Peter: Wait, YOU want MY help. Since middle school, you’ve hated and despised me and for some reason you’ll think I’d want to help you!
Flash: I know that I haven’t been the nicest, but if I’m being honest you are the smartest person I know.
Peter: Alright, I’ll help you, but only if you agree to stop bullying me and other people.
Flash: (sigh) Fine, I’ll try my best but I’m not making any promises.
Peter: Well, that’s a start.
Michelle: Um, guys is it just me or do I see a human scorpion.
Flash: Nah, I see it too.Hey mister I think you’re lost, the furry convention is down the street.
Scorpion scoffs and starts to strike Flash with his stinger, but then Peter jumps in front of Flash and takes the hit. Scorpion takes a look at Peter and throws him into the school hallways.
Flash, Harry, and Michelle: PETER!
Scorpion: That will happen to all of you, until Spider-Man comes. So you better hope he comes soon.
Peter gets up and rushes to a janitor closet, puts on the Spider-Man costume, and jumps into action.
Flash: Hey stay away from everyone, I’ll fight you if you don’t
Scorpion: You can try. I’m waiting on Spider-man, and while I wait, I’ll kill you and your fellow classmates to pass the time.
Spider-Man: Now is that necessary. Whoa, where did you get that suit from? Chuck E. Cheese?
Scorpion lunges at Spider-Man and throws him out a window and follows him outside.
Spider-Man: Ok, you’re not a big fan of my jokes.
Scorpion: How did you figure it out?
Spider-Man: Well, the intense pain in my ribs sort of gave it away.
Scorpion: After I’m done with you that won’t be the only thing that hurts!
Spider-Man webs to Scorpion and kicks him toward the school’s football field. Scorpion attempts to strike Spider-Man, but he is too fast for Scorpion to counter. Spider-Man flips around, dodging Scorpion’s attacks.
Scorpion: If you’d just stand still for one second, your death would be a lot quicker!
Spider-Man: Y’know I would, but I’d also like to live a bit longer.
Spider-Man shot a web at Scorpion’s face, which distracted him long enough for Spider-Man to swoop in and punch him in the face. As Scorpion gets up, he starts to run away.
Spider-Man: Hey where do you think you’re going!?
Spider-Man chases after Scorpion, but he is just too fast for Spider-Man and he soon loses track of him.
Spider-Man: Crap! I didn’t think he would be this fast. Whatever, I’ll get him another time, in the meantime I might as well head back to Midtown.
2 Hours Later
Harry: Peter, are you sure you’re still ok?
Michelle: Yeah, Pete you’ve been holding your ribs since school ended.
Peter: Yeah, I’m fine. That Scorpion guy just packs a punch.
Michelle: Heh, WellI’m still surprised you saved Flash.
Peter: I am too, but y’know I’m a hero, it is My job after all.
Michelle: So are you still gonna tutor Flash.
Peter: Yeah, I still am, maybe we’ll become friends because of it.
Harry: Yeah right! Flash has been a douche to you for years, and you think he’ll be your friend.
Peter: Heh, I’m just trying to be optimistic.
Harry looks at his phone and he gets a worried look.
Harry: Hey guys, I’ve got to go. My dad needs me to get home quickly.
Peter: Alright, Peace!
Michelle: Bye!
Location: Oscorp Manor 3:15 PM
Harry: Hey dad! What’s Up?
Norman: Harry, please take a seat. I need to talk to you about something.
Harry: Yeah, What is it?
Norman: Do you remember the disease your mother had?
Harry: Yeah, how could I forget.
Norman: Well the disease she had was rare, but the doctors had believed that it wasn’t genetic.
But recently, I had doctors study your blood, and the disease was in your genes.
Harry: WHAT!
Norman: Son, calm down.
Harry: How am I supposed to calm down when I know I’m dying?
Norman: Because I believe I have found a cure. I just need one last item to complete it.
Harry: Wait, you found a cure?
Norman: Yes I have. I’ve been looking for one ever since your mother died, in the case you ever got the disease. And as long as I live,you will get cured.
MEANWHILE
Location: Queens Apartment Complex 3:25
Peter: Hey Aunt May, I’m home!
Peter’s Aunt, without saying a word, runs to Peter and gives him a big hug.
Aunt May: I was so scared when I saw that your school got attacked on the news! I’m so glad you’re okay!
Peter: I’m fine Aunt May. Luckily, Spider-Man was there to help.
Aunt May: Well promise me that the next time something like that happens, you run the other direction.
Peter: Alright I promise.
Location: Unknown
???: You failed me! You ran away when you could’ve captured Spider-Man. You’re FIRED!
Scorpion: You’re going to regret doing that! Y’know what it doesn’t matter, but remember this, I know who you are. So you better keep your eye open, because one day I’ll get my payback and when I do you’ll wish you never fired me.
