"I was tasked to travel to the estuary moon of Trask to do a reconnaissance mission where I was to observe an Imperial hand-off near the docks. High Command advised me not to engage the enemy--the mission was strictly reconnaissance.

I felt cold and weary. I'd been incredibly busy with peace agreements, missions, and other tasks regarding my position in the Survivor group. My mission to Trask was no different. Trouble...yet again.

In my early years I had always dreamed of venturing to Trask, but post-Endor life vastly changed that dream. Trask's government had been overthrown, the people deserted, and the planet left to fend for themselves. Most of the trading outposts had been raided by ex-Imperials seeking to use Trask as a middle planet where they could conduct hand-offs and trade with other Imperial personnel. Today was no different.

High Command sent me to the northern portion of the planet, and cold it was. I brought along a long coat and some gloves to keep warm. I switched my attire to that of a Rebel pilot, just in case any Imperial would spot me.

Once I reached the planet, I went straight to the dockyards. HC believed this would be the site of the Imperial hand-off. The streets were busy with bustling citizens, several stormtroopers, and an occasional fist fight. Aliens from all over the galaxy had come to Trask to conduct business with the ex-Imperials, and extract oil and gather seafood from the oceans. Trade continued to be the major hub of the planet's economy, even if the Imperials had ransacked most of the remaining ores for themselves.

I reached the dockyards where HC had sent me. I spotted several Mon Calamari and half a dozen Imperial personnel near the edge of the docks. To avoid close contact, I decided to stay around ten yards away from the hand-off. It appeared that the Imperials were transporting some sort of orange container, but what was in the container was the real question. And when I had thought the mission couldn't get any worse, Moff Phandom showed up.

Ducking behind some barrels I leaned closer to catch a glimpse of the conversation:

"Moff Phandom, I am General Jara of the Resurrected Imperial Generals Program. Moff Randine sent me to retrieve a valuable container from you," spoke General Jara.

"I see. Old Randine sends a recruit and tries to boss me around...typical. Here's the container, you can leave now."

"Sir, Moff Randine also sent me to discuss a few ongoing issues with the New Republic," Jara replied.

This was getting good. Imperial plans were all I was here for. Not some silly hand-off with this ridiculous warlord. I shoved a barrel to the side so I could get a better angle.

"New Republic? Issues? Well, if old Randy wants to talk to me, then he must visit in person. No more of this nonsense holo chat thing." Phandom looked sternly at Jara as if he actually meant what he said.

"Sending a request to Randine now," Jara growled. Moff Phandom was getting a little upset now...

"I never asked for a hologram!"

"Nevermind that. You need some information from the boss." Jara's holopad sparked with energy as the figure of Moff Randine appeared on the screen.

"Greetings Phandom. I see you have been introduced to my good assistant Jara. Good...Now, let's have a chat, shall we?" The hologram shuffled as Randine looked straight towards Phandom.

Moff Phandom composed himself and spoke up to Randine, "Sure. What 'good news' do you have for me today?" He said the last part in a very sarcastic tone. The suspense was rising higher. The moment was almost here...Something very important was about to be spoken.

"We have received word that--" My hearing of the transmission broke as a Mon Calamari stumbled over some crates and knocked one of the toxic waste crates to the ground. He looked up and surprisingly let out a yelp while he flung up his floppy hands.

"Hey! I'm on a classified mission with the New Republic. Get out of my way." I said. Not too sure why I got so hyped about the incident, but maybe it was because I was about to overhear a major breakthrough in the Imperial plans. Once the Mon Calamari had quieted down I aided him as he cleaned up the spill. Most of the ground where the spill had occurred was scorched and un-able to be repaired.

After a couple minutes the Mon Calamari left me to finish my assignment. I could finally hear the transmission again:

"--our forces plan to set-up a base on Mimban. Hopefully these 'Survivors' won't have the nerve to battle us there. My forces will secure a temporary landing platform and barracks to house enough troops to halt any attacks. You are assigned to bring as many garrisons of Imperial soldiers to the planet as you can muster. I assure you, we will not allow this uprising to thwart order returning to the galaxy." Randine's form faded away as the holopad ended the transmission.

Moff Phandom and General Jara continued their hand-off. The orange container was never opened, so there was still a mystery to be uncovered. The two officers ended their meeting, and began striding off to whatever their next evil plot would be. I ducked low behind some crates as Moff Phandom and his other accomplices excited the scene. I had completed my mission, and received very good news to pass along to the other members of the Survivors. Although, I wish that Calamari hadn't showed up...We could have hijacked much valuable information."

///END LOG\\\

This is my latest build which is a part of The Survivors RPG! Had a ton of ideas of how to execute my assignment, and I'm really enjoying the end result. This MOC took around three days to complete, which was quite a surprise on my end.

I've tried to incorporate as many pro-techniques in this creation, as well as provide an appealing atmosphere and story. I also ended up altering the feel of the planet by including a snowy environment, however I did keep the usual docks and ocean.

Credit goes to MSIndustries who created this assignment, and really had a great vision for the build.

Hopefully you liked this build as much as I do, and if you did, make sure to drop a follow and comment.

Not sure what my next post will be, but it should be something good... ;)
