Everyone knows the big famous (and really stunning) waterfalls that Iceland is famous for. What was totally unexpected for me to see was the huge amount of wonderfully filigree waterfalls - clear fresh water running down from mountains and fjords almost everywhere I had been to. They add something magical to the landscape.
