I found this piece of rusted-out car pipe a while ago and was fascinated by its intricacy. I've been taking photos of it once in a while, but was never quite satisfied with the result. I finally tried putting it in front of one of my kitchen chairs, whose colors complement it nicely. The characters only became apparent to me after I loaded the pics on my computer!
