UNION STREET, WICK, CAITHNESS 21/10/1924
Not actually 1924, the buildings would have been in a better condition, but 21/10/2024 and one of Wick's less loved streets, despite it being the main route away from the very nice Mackays Hotel. Union Street, very much part of Wick's 'conservation area' basically is rotting away slowly. There are a couple of thriving businesses on the street and some residential properties, but this particular row of terraced housing just adds to the feeling of desolation in the area.
