I’ve never taken a real camera with me on a bike ride as I’ve always been afraid of eating it and breaking it. My number one goal riding is always “don’t fall” and I have done very well at that but there’s always been a concern that if I do bring a camera, it’ll be the one time I wipe out. I was riding up to NCAR today and decided to risk it and brought my older camera body with me in my bag. I originally planned to take a picture of my bike at the top of NCAR looking out over Boulder but I didn’t realize there were a lot of trees blocking the view until I got up there. I did end up with a pretty cool shot a part of the way down the road but ended up riding by schools I used to go to and liked the shot looking out at NCAR and the foothills more.
