The snow on the back deck that is melting away looked pretty interesting from the door so I decided to see what a photo would look like. Having there be two, or maybe three, distinct layers with the snow (more frozen and melting) plus the deck is an interesting look and neat to think about how the melting progresses. I've done something kind of similar with ice in a stream before and had always enjoyed that photo so it was cool to do this right at home.
