Martha Emily Crisp, daughter of Anthony Jefferson and Elizabeth (Burnett) Crisp, was born 2 Aug 1834 in Harrison Co., Indiana and died 6 Apr 1899 in Corydon, Indiana. She was married twice. On 28 Nov 1854, in Harrison Co., Indiana, she married Vincent Marsh (1825-1865). She was Vincent’s second wife. Vincent was previously married to Martha’s sister Margaret Elizabeth (1826-1851). Martha and Vincent had six children: Margaret Ann (1855-1858), Sarah Jane (1857-1926), Benjamin (1859-1860), Carrie (1861-1944), Martha Anne (1862-1890) and Elizabeth (1864-1943). On 11 Mar 1869, in Harrison Co., Indiana, she married John A. Glenn (1832-1907). They had four children: James Peter (1869-1953), Emma J. (1871-1896), Walter Crisp “Stormer” (1873-1967) and Zetta (1876-1880). Martha and John are buried in Jordan Cemetery, Corydon, Indiana. Photographer is J. A. Wilson, New Albany, Indiana.
