Chewing the cud
Seen on the "Steinhofgründe", a large public park and former farm on the edge of the Vienna Woods. To encourage natural growth of the meadows for the sake of wild flowers as well as butterflies, wild bees and birds, mowing (for haymaking) has been reduced to once a year, and a small flock of sheep has been introduced.
Do zoom in to see the efficient teeth!
Tair 11, 133mm f:2.8 (early M-39 Zenit screw-mount version)
PENTAX K-1
My thanks to Chetworth delGato for encouragement in this style of photography.
