The King of Flare
Until I took the picture in the first comment below, I had no idea of the flare potential of the tiny Pentax Q 04 TOY LENS WIDE 6.3mm f:7.1 - a few shots later I came up with this one...
wherewith I solemnly declare
this lens to be "The King of Flare"...
;-)
Seen on the Bavarian side of the River Inn, across from the Austrian town of Schärding.
Taken with the adorable little Pentax Q.
***The PENTAX Q "Toy lenses" are tiny manual-focus primes with a fixed aperture. They were rather misunderstood and never caught on. I think that's a pity. If one takes the trouble, they can give beautiful results. They are not really toys, and are anything but simple to use well. As with any equipment, you have to recognise the possibilities and respect the limitations.***
