MM Spiderlegs-Pouch 2020-09-14

Leather pouch containing "Spinnenbeine" - "spiderlegs", the fond nick-name of an older Leica accessory for photographing documents and close-ups. This set dates from the early 1930s, as does the camera in the background and also the Leica lens with which I took the picture.

PENTAX K-1, Ernst Leitz Wetzlar HEKTOR f = 7.3cm 1:1.9

Note: Leica lenses can be mounted on a Pentax via adapters (in this case M-39 + T2 + M-42 + Pentax Bayonet), but, because of the distance between lens and sensor required by the reflex mirror, they can be used for macro-photography only.
