charcoal protrait

First, I darkened the white paper all over with charcoals and roughly set the overall position of face line, head, eyes, nose, and mouth. Then, I erased some parts that stand out the most from the face to make them brighter. And I made the shaded areas darker with charcoal sticks. After drawing shade and light, I expressed details such as hair, pupils, and wrinkles on my lips. And I drew a frame of glasses on it, and its shadow bent to fit the face curve.
