The one and only 'Red Devil' hauls the Cape Province Explorer V from Bethlehem to Fouriesburg on 13th June 1999, seen passing Brandlaagte.

 

Numbered 3450, originally a 25NC built by Henschel in 1953, it was rebuilt in 1981 as a class 26 with many improvements to increase efficiency.
