Cat Quilt

I made the center block years ago (my own design), then put it in a bin and forgot about it. I found it and turned it into a baby quilt by adding the inner red border (with a cat fabric) and the big outer blue border. If you look closely, you can see that I quilted it with hearts, stars and loops, to compliment the fabrics. I also tried to use handwriting to add 'cat' and 'meow' in the quilting (I'm a little rusty, I haven't used handwriting since I was in school)

 

It was an absolutely gorgeous, sunny day. I could hardly tell that December just started. I expect to wake up to a huge dump of snow any day now.
