GENDER Breakfast at CSW 67
On the sidelines of United Nations 67th session on the
Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67), CGIAR GENDER organized a breakfast to look at the agricultural innovations for rural women for resilient food systems.
The breakfast was attended by several dignitaries including H.E Dr. Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, Spouse to the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya; H.E Ambassador Njambi Kinyungu, Kenya’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations; H.E Ambassador Gabriel Ferrero y de Loma-Osorio, Chair of the Committee on Food Security (CFS); Senator the Honourable Malarndirri McCarthy, Australia’s Assistant Minister for Indigenous Australians and Indigenous Health and Senator for Northern Territory. The breakfast also brought together researchers and policymakers working in gender and food systems.
