Keeping close.....
A Robin taken almost this time last year..Even though occasionally digging for worms they are still happy to receive seeds from my pocket and keep close by on a walk - especially in the cold weather. This is actually taken just on the side of a pathway which is what oof grey area is and the Robin kept me company much of the time I walked this pathway.
I am desperately sorry to see all the beautiful birds having to be culled due to Avian flu and the scenes of Swans suffering from it are heartbreaking but I have no idea if it affects the smaller wild birds too ?
