So there were, just tiredly walking back to the car when.....

We came across a very peaceful scene. The Geese were in various stages of repose or just plucking at their feathers. I had on the Sony A7rii a vintage lens called a Pentacon with which I had been trying my best to exploit it for its bokeh qualities. I saw this scene and stopped the lens down to f/11 and Jonathan held our dogs back on their leads whilst I crept stealthily forwards. Now creeping stealthily is not that easy when you are a bit ? overweight and have stiff joints but I was doing alright. All of a sudden another dog raced at the Geese barking and it took me a second or two the gather my wits and press the shutter button. At the very least you can see the lovely Colwick Country Park on a beautiful early evening...

A couple of days ago I was sent a mail from the Flickr Team saying they had chosen on of my photos to showcase Women Photographers on today's Explore if I didn't mind....The photo they picked (not me ) happens to be one taken from this very park...
