Happy family..
And now for a more peaceful scene. A family of beautiful Swans - a familiar scene but we may miss it this year. The last Swans nest I saw being built was destroyed by mindless vandals just after the birthing and the second of two Swans nest I have witnessed this sort of thing happening to.
Recently a lovely wooden bird hide built especially with ramps for the disabled and with platforms was burned down soon after completion in my local Nature Reserve run by the Nottingham Wildlife Trust
No point in building another whilst there are such idiots about as it was very expensive to build to those specifications...
