My Panasonic FZ30 can get pretty damn close with its zoom and the results it gets for a 5 year old camera are not bad at all considering its limitations.
It was a bit of a struggle getting the right exposure when the sun was so bright, so I had to do so much messing about to get everything right and not have peoples faces blown out with bright white all over their skin. I am glad it is free to take photos and see which work, as no way I could pay to see them like the old days of film. Still the image could do with a tiny bit of lowering the brightness so it hides the things behind her in blackness.
