Duran Duran Concert, FountainBleu Hotel, Las Vegas; December 30th, 2024

by sebulia

Simon Le Bon (lead vocals), John Taylor (bassist), Nick Rhodes: (co-keyboardist) & amp; Roger Taylor (drummer) with Simon Willescroft (saxophonist). Backup singers were Anna Ross and Rachael O'Connor.

Duran Duran put on a hell of a show, playing many fan favorites, including "Planet Earth," "A View to a Kill," and my personal favorite, "Ordinary World," for which Simon Le Bon paused to give a nice modern contextual setup for, as well.

They also did covers of ELO's "Evil Woman" and Rick James' "Super Freak." Terrific backup singers/dancers, and a great sax soloist, too.

Even though my wife is the bigger Duran Duran fan, it was one of the best live concert shows I've ever seen. Party like it's 1985!
