Eddie Izzard Remix Tour, Live At The Fox Theatre, Riverside California, November 20th, 2024

Jules and I saw gifted comedian Eddie Izzard live last night as part of "The First 35 Years" Remix tour at the Fox Theatre in downtown Riverside.
On a smoke-diffused stage, the show featured some of Izzard's best material and plenty of new stuff; including commentary on politics, mass extinction, dinosaurs, animal nature, religion (yes, "cake or death" was there, too), performing in different languages, history, Greek mythology, and a post-curtain call bonus set on Darth Vader and the inanity of the Empire (lots of allegory with modern politics, too). Standing ovation followed.
Pics were not allowed during the main set, but after the second curtain call, I saw a lot of phone cameras in use, so I figured they couldn't throw ALL of us out; especially since we were leaving anyway. It later occurred to me that this show would probably be illegal in some states across the country right now.
