Date Night At Downtown Disney, November 25, 2023

Jules and I did a nice, colorful little date night at Downtown Disney in Anaheim, and walked through the shops (loved the Star Wars-themed stuff, including Rey’s speeder & 'Bantha Burger' merch). Lovely outdoor Christmas decorations, too.
Also enjoyed a nice soup-and-sandwich dinner at "Earl of Sandwich"; possibly the LEAST expensive meal anywhere near Disneyland. 😂
The evening very much reminded me of the early days of our courtship and marriage, back in the days when large malls and sprawling outdoor shopping centers used to be date night destinations themselves; back when they had interesting little niche-specialty stores, not just clothes and phone kiosks.
In some ways, Downtown Disney was like a distillation of the Disney experience, without the long lines, intolerable waiting and confusion.
