“Blood Moon,” Lunar Eclipse 2022, May 15th, 2022

Best views Jules & I could get of tonight’s "blood moon," as the shadow of our planet is cast upon the moon's full face. We drove around the neighborhood looking for a good observation spot, when our own park provided the best local view.

If you were standing on the side of the moon facing Earth, you’d see a brilliant solar eclipse with the sun’s corona radiating like a flaming plasma-mane around a darkened disc of Earth.

It was at the park up the street where I met a nearby neighbor of mine named Steve, as we both watched the #totality in awe, while getting to know each other as well. He’s lived in the community as long as we have. Genuinely nice man. Pleasure to talk with. 😊🌕🌒
