Descending through the clouds into an overcast, humid, rainy Honolulu... that first day was NOT pretty.
Our small room was okay, but our stay has been riddled with malfunctioning showers and multiple false fire alarms in the hotel...not exactly 5-star, I'm afraid.
Our view from outside the window near our floor's elevators; we see a lovely view of...a parking lot and um...buildings.
The pool area, Day 2. I later came back for a swim. It was nice!

Our hotel. I won't name it, since it's been....problematic; we've had multiple false alarms. All passenger elevators were down the next morning, too. I know, I know....poor baby, right?
Some of the nicer hotels right along the beach...ours is not among them.
Peanuts...even in Oahu.
My 2nd day I took a stroll to the beach while Jules slept in.
Welcome to an overcast but beautiful Waikiki Beach!

Waikiki Beach... early in the morning there was almost no one here. That changed radically later that afternoon when I came back to swim.
