Women of SciFi Panel; moderator Trish Hershberger, Gigi Edgley ("Farscape"), Jackie Dallas ("Stranger Things"), Michele Specht ("Star Trek Continues" "Star Trek Online"), Taryn O'Neill (actor/filmmaker). This was a terrific and lively panel.
There were some great points made about equal representation in sci-fi and all entertainment, as well as getting away from the 'tough lady' trope. Most would like to see portrayals of sci-fi women who are more balanced and realistic, and not just stoic superhero types.
