Bearded Vulture - lammergeier

I've had a busy few days.... culminating with a visit to South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. My aim, to see the Bearded Vulture currently resident there. Some good luck and some not so good - I managed to get this photo only 20 yards from my car - It was circling, being harassed by a Buzzard at around 2000ft. The scale is significant and there is no mistaking it even at that height. I then trekked for 10 miles across The Moors into some blustery cold winds carrying a rucksack and bag with all my gear and didn't see it again, but was rewarded with some glorious views! Not my best ever photograph, but what a day!

Thanks for taking the time to view some of my images.
