এক বছরেই জাপানে স্থায়ী হওয়ার সুযোগ!

 

নতুন নিয়ম অনুযায়ী, পর্যাপ্ত পয়েন্ট অর্জন করতে পারলে যে কেউ মাত্র এক বছরেই দেশটিতে স্থায়ী হওয়ার সুযোগ পাবেন।

 

চলতি বছরের মার্চ থেকে নতুন নিয়ম কার্যকর হবে বলে শনিবার জাপানের অভিবাসন ব্যুরো জানিয়েছে।

 

আগে স্থায়ী বসবাসের আবেদনের ক্ষেত্রে দেশটিতে ন্যূনতম ১০ বছর থাকতে হতো। ২০১২ সালে জাপান সরকার ওই নিয়ম বদলে ‘পয়েন্ট সিস্টেম’ চালু করে। সেবার থেকে আবেদনের ক্ষেত্রে ন্যূনতম থাকার সময় কমিয়ে পাঁচ বছর করা হয়।

 

গত মঙ্গলবার দেশটির বিচার বিভাগ তিন বছর আগের ওই নিয়ম সংস্কারের ঘোষণা দেয়। এতে ডক্টরেট পাওয়া বিদেশিদের জন্য ৩০ এবং স্নাতকোত্তর ডিগ্রীধারীদের জন্য ২০ পয়েন্ট নির্ধারণ করা হয়।

 

শিক্ষক, গবেষক কিংবা অ্যাকাডেমিক ক্ষেত্রে পেশাজীবীরা জাপানে ৩-৭ বছর কাজ করলে ৫ থেকে ১৫ পয়েন্ট পাবেন।

 

এছাড়া অন্তত ৪টি বিশেষ ক্ষেত্রে দক্ষতা অর্জনকারী বিদেশিরা পাবেন ২০ বোনাস পয়েন্ট। সঙ্গে জাপানি ভাষায় দক্ষতা থাকলে মিলবে আরও ১৫।

 

সব যোগ করে ৭০ পয়েন্ট হলে তিন বছর জাপানে বসবাস করছেন এমন বিদেশিরা স্থায়ী হওয়ার আবেদন করতে পারবেন, আর ৮০ পয়েন্টধারীদের ক্ষেত্রে এ সুযোগ মিলবে এক বছরেই।

 

তবে এ নীতি বাংলাদেশিদের জন্যও সুযোগ বয়ে আনবে বলেও অনেকেই জানিয়েছেন।

 

জাপানে ১০ হাজারের মত প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশি আছেন যাদের মধ্যে অনেকেই দীর্ঘদিন বসবাস করে স্থায়ী হওয়ার সুযোগ পেয়েছেন।
