This may seem like a beautiful development but when you think deeper there are grave consequences of this. Wouldn’t using sentient AI for labor be slavery all over again? How do we decide whether they are sentient or not and do we give them human rights? And worstly, what happens if people disagree, leading to a conflict on how they should be treated?
