Sketchbook headshot practice

These are me practicing my pencil work in my sketchbook, both drawings are from reference pictures and took about 3-4 hours each. I do enjoy doing small detailed sketches when I’m in the mood for it and find they help me figure out fundamental things such as proportion in the face a lot better for my other drawings
